SKYLEADER 600 flew from Czech Republic to South Africa

Howard Betts, the owner of a newly produced SKYLEADER 600, decided to fly the aircraft from the production plant based in Jihlava, Czech Republic, all way to his home in South Africa. The preparations of the trip took several months and required a detailed itinerary of the route, refueling and nutrition requirements, as well as climate forecasting and handling.

Accompanied by Denis Southby, SKYLEADER representative in South Africa, the two-member team left Jihlava on 15th September, 2011 and after overcoming 10 000 kilometers in 14 days landed safely in Tedderfield, South Africa on 28th September, 2011.
