AWARD-WINNING RESEARCH PROJECT MARABU

Research project “Design and implementation of experimental VUT 001 MARABU aircraft for testing the systems for unmanned aerial vehicles in civil sector applications”, led by Mr. Prof. Antonín Píštěk of VUT Brno, Institute of Aerial Engineering, in which JIHLAVAN airplanes cooperated as a co-researcher and sub-contractor, has been awarded the Gold Medal at the International Machinery Fair in Brno held in September 2010 and has gained 2nd place at the “Best Cooperation of the Year 2010 in the area of research and development leading to innovations” competition.

The project was supported by the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade (within the grant project FIIM3/041).
